Perfluoro(2-methyl-3-pentanone) is a stable liquid but should be handled with care to maintain purity. It must be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse away from direct sunlight. While non-flammable, containers should be kept tightly sealed to prevent evaporation, as the boiling point is relatively low (49°C). Store away from strong bases and oxidizing agents. Properly stored in original containers, the product has a shelf life of at least 5 years.
